How it works
From an empty project to a submission-ready folder. Roughly fifteen minutes the first time.
- 1
Create a project
One project per plugin. Give it the plugin name and a sentence about what it does — both feed every AI prompt later, so the more precise you are here, the less you edit afterwards.
- 2
Upload screenshots
Drag in up to 50 raw captures straight from wp-admin. PNG, JPG or WEBP, 15 MB each. They upload directly from your browser to storage, so large batches don't stall. Processing starts on its own.
- 3
Check the analysis
Each screenshot gets a category, a suggested caption, quality warnings and AI-placed annotations. Drag to reorder, edit any caption, move any annotation. Nothing is locked.
- 4
Write the brief
In the Launch kit tab, tell the AI what matters: who the plugin is for, what to emphasise, what to leave out. These notes outrank anything inferred from the screenshots.
- 5
Generate the copy
One click produces the readme sections, the listing description, the Product Hunt blurb and the social posts. Everything stays editable.
- 6
Fill the readme header
Contributors, tags, tested-up-to, stable tag. The live preview shows the exact file, and the checklist flags anything wordpress.org would reject.
- 7
Export
Pick a preset and download the ZIP: screenshots at the right dimensions, readme.txt, icon, banner and all copy — laid out like the SVN assets folder.

Common questions
What image formats can I upload?
PNG, JPG and WEBP, up to 15 MB per file and 50 files per batch. PNG is best for interface captures — JPG compression softens text.
Why is my screenshot stuck on 'processing'?
Analysis normally takes a few seconds per image. If it stalls, the queue worker may be down or your Anthropic credit has run out. Re-run the screenshot from its card; if it fails again, get in touch.
Can I edit what the AI produced?
All of it. Captions, annotation positions and every piece of generated copy are editable, and your edits survive re-rendering.
Does switching templates cost quota?
No. Re-rendering an already-analysed screenshot is free — only the first analysis of each image counts against your monthly quota.
Where do the icon and banner come from?
They are composed from your plugin name and the brand colour extracted from your screenshots. Nothing is generated by a model, so the output is predictable.
